There are millions of miles of unpaved roads worldwide.
During the construction of new industrial parks and residential areas, as well as roadways, the surface of the area is often raised with sand. Some countries, including the Netherlands, also use high sand banks as preloading for the site. However useful, sand is unfortunately also a frequent source of dust emissions.
Wuvio offers a range of solutions to reduce dust in infra:
Freko-Crust or Eco-Crust S (transparent or color) creates a protective top layer on the stockpiles that ensures minimal exposure of the stored material to wind.
Atomization with water and the addition of Freko-Humidifier - an additive that reduces the surface tension of water - prevents dust formation when handling and transporting bulk materials.
Dry foam, Freko-Foam, is used particularly in drop or transition points of conveyor belts or in crusher plants. The foam has a binding effect and thus prevents dust formation.
RDS (Road Dust Solution) is an additive that is mixed with water and is easy to apply with a spray boom and water truck.
